AUG Organizes A Reception Ceremony for 2018/2019 Masters Students

October 4, 2018 - A Reception Ceremony was organized by the Deanship of Graduate Studies to welcome 2018/2019 new master’s students.

The reception was attended by Prof. Ibrahim Abraash, Chairman of the Board of Trustees, Prof. Hani Nejm, University President, Dr. Jawad Wadi, Member of the Board of Trustees, Dr. Salah Abu Hamida, Dean of Graduate Studies, several members of the Board of Trustees and the University Council, and a group of faculty members and postgraduate students.

During his welcoming speech, Prof. Ibrahim Abraash pointed out that the university is committed to providing high quality Academic Programs that reflect the image of the university at local, regional and international levels. 

Prof. Hani Nejm, University President spoke about the university's keen efforts to develop and improve the educational process on the one hand and scientific research on the other hand, urging students to make the maximum use of the academic staff's capabilities and their research experiences.

For his part, Dean of Graduate Studies welcomed the new students as well and explained that the Deanship of Graduate Studies at the University has developed a comprehensive strategy for graduate programs in accordance with quality standards and academic accreditation to keep up with the level of their peers from regional and international universities.

At the end, questions and answers session was opened in which answers were provided and all the details of the University Graduate Studies system were clarified.
