AUG was the first and only Palestinian university to open a Department of Applied Statistics in 1996. The department aims to provide national public and private institutions, research and study centers with skillful and talented graduates who are committed to their duty toward their community. The Department of Applied Statistics at AUG is constantly evolving. In 2006, the department managed to apply a master's degree program in Statistic Studies.
