Delegation from Czech Representative Office Visited AUG

Sept. 7, 2017 – A high – level delegation from the Representative Office of Czech Republic in Ramallah visited AUG.

 The delegation consisted of Mr. Petr Starý, Head of Mission; Mr. Cyril Bumbálek, Deputy Head of Mission; and Ms. Candida Novák.Hor?áková, Development Cooperation Coordinator.

Dr. Mazen Hmada, President of the Board- University Presidency updated the delegates with the latest developments of Equipment and Laboratory Facilities for Graduate Programs – Chemistry Department Project. He mentioned the obstacles that hindered the project completion in light of the critical status quo in Gaza, but hoped for finalizing the project at the end of September.

During the meeting, the two sides reinforced the significance of mutual academic cooperation and the scholarship provided for undergraduate and postgraduate field in different Czech universities.

At the end of the visit, the delegates took a tour in the labs of Chemistry Department.
