Aug 1, 2017 –  A high-level delegation from Palestine Cellular Communications Company Ltd." Jawwal" visited AUG.  

Mr. Abdul Majeed Melhem, General Manager of Jawwal and Mr. Omar Shamali , Gaza Regional Manager led the delegation to discuss means of promoting mutual cooperation.

Prof. Dr. Sami Msulih, Vice President for Academic Affairs; Dr. Marwan Al Agha, Vice President for Administrative and Financial Affairs; Mr. Issam Younis; Trustee in AUG; Dr. Mazen Hamada, President of the Board at University Presidency ; and Mr. Sharif Al Buhisi, Director of Faculty of Applied Medical Sciences and Jawwal Coordinator in AUG welcomed the delegates.

 The attendees discussed promoting the partnership in the context of social responsibility, providing services for university students in light of the critical living situation in Gaza, and holding regular meetings to discuss vital potential projects between the two partners.

 At the end, Prof. Dr. Muslih handed the university trophy for Mr. Melhem as a tribute for the fruitful partnership.
