MEDRC Delegate Visited IWE

Jul 10, 2017 – Institute of Water and Environment (IWE) represented by Dr.  Khaldoun Abu Alhin welcomed Mr. Brendan Smith, Program Manager at Middle East Desalination Research Center (MEDRC).

 The visit aimed to examine the joint PhD in Water Technology between AUG and IUG, funded by MEDRC and the procedures to submit the program to the Ministry of Education and Higher Education.

Specialists and representatives of water and environment sectors attended the meeting to discuss possible means of academic cooperation, upgrading the institute's labs, and holding scientific conferences.

At the end of the meeting, the attendees visited water desalination plants in the Gaza Strip.
