Feb 7, 2017 – Consultants from World Health Organization (WHO), who are reporting on the environmental and health conditions in the Gaza Strip particularly after the recent aggression and the impact of enforced siege, visited AUG.
Dr. Mazen Hamada, President of the Board at the University Presidency, briefed the delegates on the significant role of AUG's community centers, especially Center of Drug Analysis, Center of Food Analysis, and Institute of Water and Environment.
He went on to point AUG's commitment to serving the environmental situation in Gaza by establishing Toxicology Lab, funded by Qatar Charity.
At the end, the delegates pledged to present the report before the UN to convey the critical environmental and health situations in the Gaza Strip.
