Delegation from FES, RAND Visited AUG

Jan 18, 2017 – A high-level delegation consisted of Dr. Beyhan Sentürk , Director of Friedrich-Ebert-Stiftung (FES) office in Palestine; Dr. Usama Antar, Senior Program Manager of FES Office in Gaza; and Ms. Jawdat Hovks and Mrs. Julian Drokhlr Crown of the RAND Corporation. 

Prof. Dr. Sami Muslih, Vice President for Academic Affairs; Prof. Dr. Usama Zaineldeen, Assistant Vice President for Academic Affairs; and Dr. Mazen Hamada, President of the Board- University Presidency received the delegates.

During the meeting, the attendees discussed enhancing the academic cooperation to strengthen scientific research and serve the community. Furthermore, they discussed with Dr.  Mkhaimar Abusada, Head of Political Sciences Dept., means of joint cooperation to implement various workshops and conferences that emulate the Palestinian reality.

At the end, Dr. Hamada escorted the delegates in a flied visit to the Center of Drug Analysis and Research and the Center of Food Analysis.
