AUG Won Universities Football Cup

Dec 22, 2016 – AUG football team was crowned the champion of Universities Football Cup in the Gaza Strip after winning the final tournament against UCAS team (3-2).

The final tournament was attended by Prof. Dr. Abdel Khaliq El Farra, President of AUG; Prof. Dr. Adel Awadallah, President of IUG; Prof. Dr. Rifaat Rustum, President of UCAS; Dr. Medhat Saadallah, Dean of Student Affairs; and Mr. Khalid Abu Amra, Director of Student Activities.

Prof. Dr. El Farra extended his warm felicitations to the university team, applauding their arduous efforts to win the championship.

AUG football team consecutively defeated the teams of Gaza Training Center UNRWA, Palestine University, Gaza University, and the Islamic University.
