Palestinian Ambassador to EU, Belgium & Luxembourg Visited AUG

Aug 29, 2016 - H.E. Dr. Abdul Rahim El Farra, Ambassador of Palestine to the EU, Belgium and Luxembourg visited AUG.

H.E. El Farra was received by Prof. Dr. Abul Khaliq El Farra, President of AUG, Prof. Dr. Sami Muslih, Vice President for Academic Affairs and Vice President for Administrative and Financial Affairs Prof. Dr. Ali Al Najjar, Prof. Dr. Salah Abu Hemida, Dean of Faculty of Arts and Human Sciences and Dr. Mazen Hamada, President of the Board-University Presidency.

The attendees discussed the means of launching academic and research cooperation with European universities, and achieving a real partnership of academic and student exchanges and scholarships. H.E. El Farra stressed that the EU supports higher education in Palestine, mainly in the fields of agriculture and infrastructure.

At the end of the meeting, AUG President provided H.E. El Farra with the university trophy as a tribute to his efforts to represent the Palestinian cause in all forums.
