Al Emadi participates in AUG Graduation Ceremonies




Aug 14, 2016 - HE Ambassador Mohammed Al Emadi, Chairman of the Qatari Committee for Reconstruction of Gaza participated in the graduation ceremonies of the 21st cohort of students.

HE Al Emadi attended the third day of the ceremonies, which celebrates the graduates of College of Intermediate Studies (CIS), and rewarded the top students with a financial grant of $2000.

In his speech, Dr. Abdulrahman Hamad, Chairman of the Board of Trustees said, "The University takes pride of your presence between us today in our celebration."
Dr. Hamad also appreciated the relentless effort of Qatar to support the just Palestinian cause and its people.

During the ceremony, CIS honored the released prisoner Hana Shalabi, a graduate of Media Studies at CIS. Hana was detained in Israeli jails for 25 months, went on hunger strike for more than 30 days, and deported from Jenin to Gaza.
