Football Match Between AUG & IUG

Apr 19, 2016- A football match between Al-Azhar University Gaza (AUG) and the Islamic University Gaza (IUG) was held at IUG's football field.  AUG won the football match against IUG with a score of 1 to zero. The match was held in memory of martyrdom of both Khalil Al-Wazeer and Abd Al-Azeez Al-Runtessi under the patronage of Sports Waves Foundation.

The event was attended by the president of AUG; Prof. Dr. Abdelkalik Elfarra, the Vice president for Administrative and Financial Affairs; Dr. Ali Al-Najjar, the dean of student affairs; Dr. Midhat Saad Allah, The president of the board of presidency; Dr. Mazen Hamada, AUG Director of sport activities; Mr. Khaled Abu Amrra and students.

Furthermore, Prof. Dr. Abdelkalik Elfarra gave a speech in which he stressed that the martyrs have left us with a sense of belonging to our homeland. He pointed out the importance of national unity and the role of sport in uniting youth with different political backgrounds under one umbrella.
