First Marathon at AUG

Apr 5, 2016 - The Palestinian Union of Pharmacy students and the Faculty of Pharmacy at AUG organized its first Marathon within the activities of the scientific day titled: "rational consumption of the drug." The marathon began the main university building to Ansar traffic circle, Hisba traffic circle, and Abu Mazen traffic circle taking a turn back to the main university building.

The marathon was attended by the Vice-President for Administrative and Financial Affairs, Dr. Ali Al-Najar, the dean of the faculty of Pharmacy, Dr. Kanaan Al-Whidy, Dean of Student Affairs, Dr. Midhat Saad Allah and members of faculty members and students. The marathon sport, participated by dozens of students, is a part of a program organized by the Faculty of Pharmacy in cooperation with the Palestinian Union of Students of Pharmacy on the "rational consumption of the drug." Zakaria Azzak won first place in the student marathon, Mohammad Al-Matlaan won second place and Majdi Abu Alaqraa won third place. The winning students will be honored on Thursday at Hani Al-Shawa building.
