Statistical Analysis Challenges in Theses and Research

Feb 19, 2017 – Applied Statics Dept. at the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences held a symposium on "Statistical Analysis Challenges in Theses and Research," in the presence of Prof. Dr. Sami Muslih, Vice President for Academic Affairs; Dr. Marwan Al Agha, Vice President for Administrative and Financial Affairs; and Dr. Mohammed Fares, Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences in addition to the faculty staff and students.

Dr. Shady Al-Telbany, Head of Applied Statistics Dept., commenced the symposium. He briefed on the Dept. as the only department in the Palestinian universities. He pointed out the vital role of statistics in research and theses, particularly in light of modern technology in statistical methods.

Several academics: Prof. Dr. Mahmoud Okasha, Prof. Dr. Abdallah El-Habil, Dr. Mo'omen EL-hanjouri, and Dr. Ali Abu Zaid participated in the symposium.
