Indusoft SCADA Software Workshop

Apr 20, 2017 – In cooperation with Palestinian Information Technology Association of Companies (PITA), the Faculty of Engineering and Information Technology organized a workshop on Indusoft SCADA Software.

Dr. Ali Awad. Dean of the Faculty of Engineering and Information Technology; Eng. Noah Gaoud, Head of Control Dept. at PITA; and a number of the faculty staff members and students attended the workshop.

Dr. Awad welcomed the attendants, stressing that the faculty is keen to enrich its students' capabilities through the various extracurricular activities.

During the workshop Eng. Gaoud discussed Supervisory control and data acquisition (SCADA) system that allows industrial organizations to control, monitor and store data of industrial processes locally or at remote locations.

Dr. Mohammed Aqel pointed out that this activity came as part of Programmable Logic Controllers in Mechatronics study plan.
