AUG Signed MoU with IDS

Dec 19, 2016 – AUG signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Institute for Development studies (IDS) to implement "Enhancing Youth Rights Responding to the ICCPR" Project.

The project aims to promote youth's role in the Palestinian political parties and networks and enable them to exercise their political rights guaranteed under the International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights (ICCPR). It also aims to enable young people to freely and fairly participate in the process of decision-making and in monitoring the performance of official actors in the protection of their political rights. The project seeks to stimulate political parties, youth networks, and civil society to propose a national plan to apply the terms of ICCPR.   

The MoU was signed in the ceremony of signing the MoUs with members of the national civil team supported ICCPR.
