U.S. Higher Education and Cultural Exchange Programs Workshop

Feb 22, 2017 – In cooperation with Education USA and AMIDEAST Office in Gaza, the Faculty of Pharmacy at AUG and Al-Azhar Scientific Pharmaceutical Students' Association (ASPSA) held a workshop entitled" U.S. Higher Education and Cultural Exchange Programs: Advising Session."

The workshop discussed in details the various academic and students exchange opportunities to study in the United States, in the presence of Dr. Hala Al Agha, Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Pharmacy; Mr. Essam Mattar, U.S. Consulate Coordinator in Gaza; Mr. Akram Al-Baghdadi, Educational Advisor; and Anas Al Massri from AMIDEAST in addition to a huge number of faculty students.

During the workshop, the AMIDEAST team discussed the process of applying for such programs, and they discussed the advising opportunities of Education USA Program for Palestinian students.

At the end, student Noor El Farra, a fifth-level student at the faculty talked about her ow experience in getting one-semester scholarship in the U.S.
