35 Cleft Lip Patients in AUG

Mar 1, 2017 – The Faculty of Dentistry received 35 patients who responded to the free campaign launched by the Faculty to provide treatment plans for cleft lip.

  Dr. Hazem El Ajrami, Deputy Dean and Organizer of the Campaign, held a meeting with the patients and their families, in the presence of the faculty fifth-level students. He briefed on the campaign, its objectives and expected results.

Dr. El Ajrami explained in details the faculty's treatment steps, starting with examining the patients in the Faculty labs, providing each patient with clinical file, presenting them to otolaryngologists, cosmetic surgeon and pediatrician to provide integrated treatment for each patient.

At the end, the faculty fifth-level students lectured on the cleft lip, its causes and treatment methods. They also presented a documentary on the most challenges facing cleft lip patients.
