Scientific Day for Diabetes

May 4, 2017 – The Student Forum at the Faculty of Applied Medical Sciences held a scientific day entitled" Learn about Diabetes and Protect Yourself".

Prof. Dr. Sami Muslih, Vice President for Academic Affairs; Dr. Khalid Abushab, Dean of the Faculty of Applied Medical Sciences; and a number of the faculty staff members and students attended the event.

Prof. Dr. Muslih applauded the achievements of the faculty, pointing out the significance of AUG's celebration of all occasions through workshops and scientific days that aim to fulfill the university mission.

For his part, Dr. Abushab explained the research conducted in the faculty to find appropriate solutions to one of the prevalent diseases in this era.

 Four lectures were presented in the scientific day that discussed diabetes, its symptoms, causes and treatments. Diabetic foot, diabetes complications, and diets were also discussed during the day.
